Deacon Board-Chairman: Dec. Tyrone Moore

Purpose is to minister to the needs of the church members and to offer support to the pastor.

1. Empowering our people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our current world and their environment
2. Elevating them through encouraging responsible participation in the life, vision/mission and work of the church
3. Equipping people to master personal and spiritual growth in their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ through scripture

It is our desire to let everyone know that they are an important part of our vision. We want to provide them with a place where they are welcomed, heard and accepted into a spiritual family that will not condemn, shun, or judge them; but will teach them in the fear and admonition of the Lord. (Proverbs 22:6)

We want to address and respond to the various needs of God’s people by providing educational and programs, activities, and events that will allow everyone to express their faith through their own words and actions.

Outreach Ministry Chair: Dec. Tyrone Moore

Vision-The vision of the Food Pantry Ministry is to maintain the pantry of clothing and nonperishable food for benevolent and outreach ministry.

Gospel Choir Ministry Chair: Rev. Belinda Barnes

Mission Statement-The Ledge Rock Missionary Baptist Church Gospel Choir mission is to glorify our Lord and Savior through song. It is the ultimate goal to minister to those who hear the Word of God through our music and will have a heartfelt desire to have a deeper relationship with God.

Male Chorus Chair: Dec. Tyrone Moore

Mission Statement-God’s Anointed Voices Male Chorus will strive to uplift God’s Kingdom through song. To provide inspiration and encouragement through song and to reach the hearts of those who hear.

Men’s Ministry Chair: Rev. John Davis

Mission Statement-The Men’s Ministry of Ledge Rock Missionary Baptist Church holds as its focus and concern, the re positioning of men to their station in God through Jesus Christ.

Missionary Ministry Chair: 

Mission Statement-To demonstrate His Holy Spirit through worshiping, witnessing, and ministering to the needs of the people by continuously seeking and saving lost souls by spreading the gospel.

Praise and Worship Ministry: President-TBD

Mission Statement-The Ledge Rock Missionary Baptist Church Ministry of Praise & Worship is to help usher in of the Holy Spirit, so those who come to fellowship will feel and experience the awesome presence of God. The scripture tells us that where there is liberty, and with liberty we are free to interact and give Him glory for who He is.

Mission Statement-The Ledge Rock Missionary Baptist Church Youth & Teen Ministry’s purpose is to bring edification and to gain a closer relationship with Jesus, with the leadership of the Holy Spirit. This will enable them to be effective witnesses to their peers and to help them to learn how to be true disciples of Jesus Christ.
